Mediqs Away currently have medics supporting the Queensland Looping Project. They have been in the field since May and are currently supporting a large crew in camp just outside the town of Banana.
Mediqs Away have been in contact with the local emergency services to advise them of the projects whereabouts and the medical staffing on site. We have chosen to supply an emergency nurse at the Banana site who has a great deal of experience in trauma management. He is supported by Emergency physicians on 24 hour call who provide advise and interface with the rescue service.
